IF Anti oxidant pellets is an additive to lead free solder baths which reduces oxide formation. It is based on pellets made from pure tin (Sn100) and an anti oxidant.
IF anti oxidant pellets is recommended for use on lead free alloys without incorporated oxide reducing additives, under air. The pellets can be used with all tin based lead free alloys for solder baths like SAC305, SAC387, SAC405, SnCu, SnAg, etc..
With high raw material prices for solder bath alloys, especially costly high Silver lead free alloys, it is important to save costs.

Application

The function of these tablets is to slow down the formation of the rigid tin oxides on a solderbath. The addition of the anti-oxidants creates an invisible layer on the surface of the solder, protecting it against oxidation and providing better metal fluidity.
As a result boards will be cleaner and show better top side hole wetting.

 
 
  Start up:
Add from minimum 1 pellet (appr. 4g) for every 10kg of solder bath fill to maximum 1 pellet (appr. 4g) for every 1kg of solder bath fill.
 
  Follow up:
Add the required amount of anti oxidant pellets with every new solder bar added to the solder bath.
