IF 910 is a dross separating oil. It is used on wave solder baths to enable separation of oxides from the solder alloy used in the solder bath. Solder dross is part useless oxides and a big part cooled useful solder alloys material. To avoid the waste of good solder material the IF 910 de-oxidation all helps separating waste material from good material.
With high raw material prices for solder bath alloys, especially costly high Silver lead free alloys, it is important to save costs.
IF 910 can save up to 50% of the costs for material, otherwise thrown out with the oxides.

IF 910 De-oxidation oil

IF 910 De-oxidation oil is used sparsely on all the gathered oxides in the solder bath. Use only one tea spoon on the dross to enable heat transfer from the bath into the

oxides. With two metal spatulas rub the oxides so that the good materials fall back into the bath and only the oxides in powder form stay behind.
Remove oxide powder from the bath.
